Women’s Hormone Production
Estrogen:
Estrogen levels naturally decline, typically starting after age 35 as women approach menopause. This can lead to symptoms like reduced muscle mass, lower energy, decreased libido, and mood changes.
Growth Hormone:
Growth hormone production begins to decline in the mid-20s, with a more noticeable drop by age 30 and continues to decrease. This decline can lead to reduced muscle mass, bone density, and energy levels, contributing to many typical signs of aging.
What is Menopause?
Some women go through menopause without any noticeable symptoms—their periods simply stop, and that’s the end of it. But that’s not the norm. About 80% of women experience symptoms, and for half of them, those symptoms can last for years. On average, hot flashes and other vasomotor symptoms persist for around 7.4 years.
What is Peri-menopause?
Perimenopause and the early years of menopause are an important time for your health—even if you’re not experiencing any symptoms. It’s a sensitive phase, almost like a turning point, when small health issues can grow into bigger, long-term problems if they’re not taken care of.
