Invoices for labs, supplements, and prescriptions are processed approximately 3 weeks before your refill date for existing patients and immediately following the medical provider appointment for new patients.

How do I make a change to my membership?

Do you accept transfer patients from other clinics? I have recent lab results as well.
Yes, we have transfer patient-friendly options, including discounts, and accept outside lab results. You can upload your results in your patient portal found on our website or by using the 1st Optimal App (coming soon).
Do I need insurance to obtain treatment with 1st Optimal?
Great question! No, you do not need insurance. In fact, we offer all of our treatments via a cash-based model (FSA/HSA are accepted).
Do you only offer memberships to United States residents?

How long does it take to receive my lab results?
Depending on how comprehensive your test results are, the time may vary greatly. Generally we see approximately 5-7 business days on most tests, however, due to our in-depth options, some results may take up to 10-14 business days.
How long does it take to receive my treatment order?
After your lab results are reviewed by our medical team, treatment orders typically take about 7-10 business days to be processed and shipped. Delivery times may vary based on your location and the specific treatment ordered.
Who should I contact in the event of a medical emergency?
In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. For non-emergent questions related to your treatment, you can contact our customer support team or message your assigned healthcare provider through our online platform.
Do you have MD doctors online and how do I get a prescription? What is the process?
Yes, 1st Optimal has licensed medical providers available online. After you complete your initial consultation and lab work, a medical provider will review your results and discuss your treatment plan with you. If a prescription is needed, it will be electronically sent to one of our partner pharmacies, which will then ship the medication directly to you.
What is the pricing model and what is included?
The membership includes medical consultations, lab testing, shipping & handling cost, medical supplies, follow-up consultations, special member pricing treatments, and ongoing support. Each membership tier varies in terms of services and frequency of medical consultations and treatment options, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs.
Is the membership monthly? How and when can I cancel?
Yes, our membership is billed monthly. You can cancel through our membership change here. If you cancel, you may take advantage of membership perks for approximately 1 month following your last payment.
